This Site is owned and run by the FAAA.

This Site and its Terms are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditional submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales to determine any dispute arising out of these Terms. If any part of these Terms is found to be void, unlawful or unenforceable, then that part will be deemed severable from the Federal Court of Australia.

Any information or material published on the Site, including questions, answers and blogs submitted by FAAA Members, Users or the public is subject to review by the FAAA.

The FAAA may publish any information or material, received by FAAA Members, Users and the public, at any time. This information or material will be posted or published in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Accordingly, the FAAA takes no responsibility for the accuracy of such information and material and does not endorse it.

The FAAA may remove any information or material published or posted on the Site, at any time without providing notice, or an explanation for this removal.

Amendments

Additionally, the FAAA reserves the right to change the information provided on or via this Site, including these Terms, at any time and without notice. It is recommended that you review the information provided on or via this Site, including these Terms and Conditions, periodically for changes.

Commercial Use

As copyright owners, the FAAA is able to license non-exclusive copyright on the majority of Advice Academy content on this website to other parties. If you are a commercial organisation, or your website is for commercial purposes, a fee may apply should permission be granted.

Web reuse/Linking

If you wish to use our content on your website or blog, you may reproduce up to 200 words and then link back to the article on adviceacademy.au. No permission is required to do this.

Any website, blog or online entity reproducing more than 200 words of any article, graphic or video, without written permission from either Advice Academy, its parent company or authorised syndication agents, is in breach of our copyright. We will take legal action if we find any website, blog or online entity has breached our copyright.

Email newsletters – if you wish to use an Advice Academy article in your email newsletter you may reproduce up to 200 words and then link back to the article on adviceacademy.au. Permission will be required to use more than 200 words, as detailed above – if you are a commercial organisation, or your email newsletter is for commercial purposes, a fee may apply should permission be granted.

Graphics, Photos and Illustrations

Advice Academy does not hold the copyright to most photographs or images that you see featured on the website. Therefore, we are unable to distribute them or grant permission for their reuse.

We are able to syndicate our in-house graphics for reuse. If you would like to syndicate a graphic, please contact us at [email protected] to get a quote and discuss further. Please supply: details of the graphic, the link to the graphic as well as a link to the article it relates to.

Translation

Advice Academy does not offer a translation service for any of its articles. Once you have received permission to syndicate an article as detailed in the sections above, if you wish to translate it you do not need our permission to do so, as long as the following statement appears alongside the translation: “(Title of publication) agrees to indemnify the FAAA and the Advice Academy against any claim arising from incorrect or misleading translation”.
